Greetings from the Community Development Centre in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan!!

We are exited to announce the coming FCD (Foundations in Community Development) school in 2008, Jordan .

When?
The lecture phase of the school will be from the 1st of June – 21st of August 2008, with a following 12 weeks for Field Assignment or 1 year internship phase.

The field assignment phase will be from the 24th of Aug till the 13th of Nov 2008.
The field assignment will be in a number of nations throughout the region. Following the field assignment , there will be opportunities to join long term teams.

What’s the purpose of the school?
The aim is to equip students following Christ Jesus as their example and leader
1) To facilitate holistic growth towards God's intentions in targeted communities resulting in a fuller expression of the kingdom of God.
2) To be effective multipliers of community development from a biblical perspective and to establish long term CD teams and partnerships in Middle East.

The course maintains a holistic perspective and a focus on the Kingdom of God which, as a result, contributes to the goals and objectives of YWAM

Who should attend?
People with a long term calling to bless communities in or around Jordan, who want to be involved in displaying God's love through biblical community development. We recommend spouses to attend the school as well because community ministry involves the whole family so it is very important that both husband and wife understand the principles of biblical community development.
